Permission to go abroad again for TIR drivers!

In his written statement, Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan announced new decisions regarding freight transport in international trade.
Stating that important measures have been taken at customs gates in coordination with the Ministries of Health and Interior for the Covid-19 pandemic, which has influenced the whole world, Pekcan stated that the necessary studies have been carried out to ensure that the foreign trade is continued effectively and with high capacity.
Pekcan, noting the importance of the decision taken, "Under international commercial shipping, except for entry and exit from Iraq and Iran border, the Turkish driver of their arrival in Turkey, the Ministry of Health units of the examination after the Covid-19 to detect any symptoms, they will be allowed to go abroad again without waiting for the 14-day quarantine period, provided that any health measures are taken. ” found the assessment.
Pekcan also emphasized that Turkish drivers who cannot leave the country should complete the 14-day quarantine period at home, as in the previous practice.
Pekcan, pointing out that some of the vehicles and their drivers carry importance of entry into the country, "Turkey in terms of urgency that drugs, medical supplies and food to be given priority for entry of vehicles carrying such substances." she continued her speech.
