Nuhoğlu said, “While important measures were taken for health, green lines were created for carriers. He also took measures to prevent transports on the EU roadway without hesitation." Speaking of the measures taken due to the virus, Nuhoğlu said, “There were 1,100 daily passes from Kapikule in January and February. Today, this number has dropped to 700." Nuhoğlu said," We have stated that we want drivers to be tested ".

Emre Eldener, on the other hand, explained that there are some problems in maritime transportation with the following statements; "Buyer team couldn't go to China in maritime transport and then they came to Turkey in February. Seeing that Turkey's continued manufacturing and they increased their orders. However, shipowners stopped their voyages and stopping at some ports due to decreasing container traffic and empty containers did not arrive. When the demand increased, we had to postpone the shipments. There was a 30 percent increase in freight rates. Nevertheless, the least affected sector is container transportation. the ship has arrived in Turkey for 14 days quarantine period. There is serious waiting cost on ships. ”
